Find and embrace your authentic self – The calling of your soul
How do we do that?
From our experience, in order to find your genius it’s important to let go of any preconceived ideas about what you are ‘supposed’ to be good at, and tune into what you are good at. This can be challenging as we all have imbedded “programming” from society, our families, and the cultures with which we are involved (i.e., work, hobbies, affiliations, etc) that shape our perceptions and beliefs.
Beliefs about ourselves, about others, and about what is considered suitable and proper for our lives.
Find your genius by connecting to your soul
To break through those barriers in a healthy way, a good start is to begin asking yourself, with honesty and without judgement, questions that begin that dialogue with your soul.
- What comes easy to you, or what is challenging but at the same time excites you?
- What do you love to do? What brings you true joy?
- How did you love to spend your time when you were a child?
- What could you spend hours doing and never notice the passage of time?
- What are you passionate about? What raises your inner vibration?
Some individuals find using meditation, exercise, or writing can help access this information within you. It may take some practice but it’s worth the investment! : )
